Sensitive Massage

Inner Knowing

Within the enormous variety of massages available, the so-called "sensitive massage" stands out for being the one that probably connects most with the patient and, therefore, is the one that is therapeutic on the greatest number of levels.

In sensitive massage, the therapist lets themselves flow. There are no structures. It is a continuous flow of contact between patient and therapist, and in this communication (mostly silent), it is the patient's own body that speaks and tells the therapist where to focus their attention. It may seem a little strange, but the "magic" exists.

I treat muscle tension, but also a joint blockage or an area that is holding blocked emotional energy. It will always depend on the patient's needs at that moment. I rely on on my ability to connect and my trained and developed intuition. Notwithstanding, the patients limits also exist, and it's important to respect those.

In my massage salon, the music quietly envelops, the temperature is warm and inviting, the aroma is subtle... everything helps the patient  "let go" and connect .

It's about experiencing contact, about being touched. That's the first and greatest therapeutic benefit:  judgment-free contact restores subtle and not-so-subtle energetic levels. The patient experiences physical, emotional, and spiritual movements that leave them renewed and "open," which is why it's very important for the massage therapist to know how to connect and be able to connect with the patient if they need it. Sometimes we touch on very important emotional moments for the patient, unresolved conflicts, fundamental blockages that make it necessary for the therapist to be fully present for the patient, as a support.

Among the so-called "sensitive massages," we can find Californian Massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Gestalt Massage... the variety is endless and unique, as it always depends on the therapist's technical and experiential knowledge and the patient's current state.

Dare to try it and experience this universe of sensations firsthand, bearing in mind I am a serious professional.
